When Your Benefits Begin

Most of your benefits will begin on your day of hire if you enroll within 31 days. Your Benefits will send an email to let you know you are eligible to participate in benefits.

The information below will explain which benefits you are eligible for and when they begin. Although your coverage begins on day one, keep in mind that the plan administrators need time to process and enter your information in the system.

When Benefits Begin for Employees Scheduled to Work 20 Hours or More Per Week

You are automatically covered for these benefits on your hire date. You do not need to enroll.

These benefits begin on your hire date if you enroll within 31 days. If you don’t enroll, you cannot enroll in most of these benefits until the next Annual Enrollment period.

You get these benefits automatically after you have worked at the Company for an extended amount of time.

When Benefits Begin for Employees Scheduled to Work Less Than 20 Hours Per Week

You are automatically covered for these benefits on your hire date. You do not need to enroll.

You get these benefits automatically after you worked at the Company for an extended amount of time.

Part-Time Employees Scheduled to Work 20 – 31 Hours per Week

Your vacation accrual and holiday pay will be prorated, and you will pay twice the full-time rate for medical and dental coverage.

Be sure to enroll on EmployeeConnect within 31 days of your hire date.

New Hire Health Management Program Participation

If you are a new employee hired before Dec. 1, 2024, and enrolled in a Rockwell Automation medical option, you are eligible to participate (and earn incentives) in the Health Management Program. If you want to receive any incentives toward your 2025 medical premiums, you must participate in the Health Management Program in 2024.
