Count your COVID-19 vaccine as a Take Action activity

At Rockwell Automation, we view well-being from a holistic perspective that prioritizes physical, mental and financial health. Because of this, your health and safety come first, always.  That’s why we encourage—but do not mandate—that all Rockwell Automation employees get the COVID-19 vaccine when it becomes locally available. To support this effort and strive toward the return to a more normal life, we are now adding COVID-19 vaccines as a Take Action activity through the Health Management program.

Where to get your COVID-19 vaccine

You have a choice as to where to get your vaccine. If you’re in a Rockwell Automation medical option, your vaccine will be covered at 100% through participating network pharmacies and medical offices. The federal government will cover the cost of the vaccine ingredients, and your pharmacy benefit will cover the administrative costs. If you get vaccinated at a non-network pharmacy or other medical facility, any cost for administration should be submitted to UnitedHealthcare (UHC) for reimbursement.

How to report your COVID-19 vaccine

If you have not already created an account through WebMD, our Health Management program partner, you’ll need to do so before you can report completion of this Take Action activity (you can find instructions to set up your account here). You can also access WebMD through single sign-on via Your BenefitsTM by selecting the Take Credit for Taking Action tile or the Your Wellness Matters tile.

Once you have created your account on the WebMD portal, select My Incentive at the top of the page. Then select the blue Keep Earning button. From there, scroll down until you see Receive the COVID-19 Vaccine. (If you are getting a vaccine that requires two doses, you should record it on the WebMD portal after you have received both.)

What you will earn

When your report your COVID-19 vaccine, you will earn a $200 incentive toward your 2022 medical premiums, up to a maximum of $500 for all Take Action activities. This will be referenced as 200 points on the WebMD portal, but it will be converted to dollars in next year’s medical premiums.*

Paid Time Off

We are committed to supporting you in being able to obtain a vaccine when you become eligible. If you need to take time off to get vaccinated, you can submit the request through Workday (up to eight hours as needed). Should you have an adverse reaction to the vaccine and require additional time off from work, you will be supported as you would for any other medically necessary absence.

* You must complete the Health Risk Questionnaire before you can earn incentives for any Take Action activities.
