What to Do After Your Numbers@Work Health Screening

Kudos! Taking a closer look at your health is important because it helps you identify potential health problems early. Now that you’ve taken that key step, here’s what to do next:

Add Up Your Incentive!

You can earn $50 for each healthy target you reached for weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood glucose and cardiorespiratory fitness.* That could mean up to $250 off your 2016 medical premiums! Just remember, you have to take the Health Risk Questionnaire (HRQ) to receive your incentive.

Complete the HRQ

Be sure to take the HRQ during Annual Enrollment (Oct. 24 – Nov. 15). You’ll learn more about potential health risks and how you can reduce them. And you’ll be eligible to receive incentives for your health screening results and Take Action activities. (Also, if you don’t take the HRQ, you’ll pay an additional $100 on your 2016 medical premiums.)

To make it easier for you, after your screening, StayWell automatically populates your results in the HRQ so it’s ready for you during Annual Enrollment.

Prepare Now for Next Year

To improve or maintain your screening numbers next year, consider a Take Action activity.

Take Action activities focus on physical activity, nutrition and health coaching—all of which can have a positive impact on your health and your screening results. In fact, StayWell says employees who completed two or more Take Action activities were most likely to improve their screening numbers.

Also, be sure to share your results with your primary care provider (PCP). Your PCP can partner with you to make improvements to protect your health overall.

* To receive any incentives for a health screening or Take Action activity, you must complete the HRQ during Annual Enrollment.
