January 2025
Financial Wellness Month
Every step toward progress, no matter how small, should be celebrated. Maybe you’re trying to set aside more for those ‘what-if’ moments or thinking longer term by bumping up your retirement savings contributions. Each little win brings you closer to your money goals so you can live the life you want.
Check out Fidelity’s Financial Wellness Month campaign where you can find hands-on tools, and other resources related to must-know money topics, such as:
- Ways to balance spending and saving priorities
- How much to save for the unexpected (think medical bills, home, or car repairs)
- How to stretch your paycheck further
Your Year-End Checklist
As 2024 wraps up, here are a few things you’ll want to check off your to-do list before the year ends.
- Schedule Last-Minute Health Care Appointments
With the year wrapping up, it’s a great time to take advantage of any remaining benefits for checkups, screenings, and other preventive care. Don’t forget that if you’re due for a preventive care exam—many plans cover these 100% with no cost to you. Also, if you’ve met your deductible, you’ll pay less for care and enter 2025 happy and healthy! - Use Your 2024 FSA Funds
Be sure to use your Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds by December 31, 2024—unused funds don’t roll over from year to year. You have until March 31, 2025 to submit DCFSA claims for eligible expenses incurred in 2024. For Health Care FSA and Limited Purpose FSA funds, you lose any money over $640 left in your account at the end of the year. However, you can submit a claim through March 31 of the following calendar year for expenses incurred in the prior year. To check your FSA balance, visit Your Benefits™. - Watch Your Mailbox for Your 2025 HSA/FSA Cards
If you enrolled in the Broad Access HSA medical plan for the first time, HealthEquity will mail information in December about your Health Savings Account (HSA), including your HSA debit card you can use to pay for eligible expenses in 2025.
If you enrolled in a HCFSA, LPFSA, or DCFSA for the first time, keep a lookout for more information in December from Alight Smart-Choice about your FSA, including your FSA debit card you can use to pay for eligible expenses in 2025. - Download Your Digital Medical/Prescription and Dental ID Cards
If you enrolled in a new medical/prescription or dental plan for 2025, you should receive a physical card in your mailbox in December. Starting in January 2025, you can download your digital ID cards by visiting your medical, prescription, or dental provider’s website. You can also access them on your phone using your provider’s mobile app.
ID cards will list all covered dependents. If you elected coverage for just yourself, you’ll receive only one card. If you cover any dependents, you’ll receive two cards. If you need additional or replacement cards, visit your provider’s website or mobile app for help.
Keep in mind: Your dental provider doesn’t need an ID card in order to file a claim for your care. - Verify Your Dependents
If you enrolled new dependents in medical/prescription, dental, or vision coverage for 2025, be prepared to provide proof of dependent eligibility (marriage certificates, birth certificates, etc.). Make sure to double-check your dependents’ names, Social Security numbers, and dates of birth too! - Earn Up to $500 in Well-Being Credits
Complete your OnTrack requirements no later than December 31. The credits you earn in 2024 will be applied toward your 2025 medical premiums. View the program requirements here or on page 39 of the 2025 Benefits Guide. - Use Your Vacation Time
If you’ve accrued vacation time, consider taking time off to relax, recharge, and spend quality time with loved ones. Your number of paid vacation days depends on how long you’ve worked for Rockwell. To see how much vacation time you’re eligible for, go to Workday or read page 36 of the 2025 Benefits Guide.
November 2024
Earn Double Points in November
For the month of November, you have the opportunity to maximize your OnTrack point-earning opportunities (aka: “multipliers”) by engaging with a health coach throughout the month of November. Multipliers reward higher points for consistency in things like steps, sleep tracking, logging healthy habits, and more.
Get Your Free Flu Shot
Flu shots are free through all medical plans—including for your dependents! Get yours through your doctor by showing your UnitedHealthcare ID card, or from CVS Caremark or another network pharmacy (Target Pharmacy, Walmart, Walgreens, etc.) by showing your CVS Caremark ID card.

To learn more about all the benefits available to you, check out the 2025 Benefits Guide.
- New Automax Feature for HCFSAs
The IRS changes the maximum amount you can contribute to your Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) at the end of each year, so you won’t see the new maximum when you enroll during Annual Enrollment. When you enroll, select “Yes” if you want your HCFSA contribution to automatically increase to the new maximum if the IRS raises it, or select “No” if you don’t want this automatic increase. You’ll be able to view your selection beginning January 2025. - More Health Support for Women
In 2025, you and your adult dependents enrolled in a Rockwell medical plan will have access to Maven. In addition to virtual care for pregnancy, postpartum, and returning to work after parental leave, you’ll have access to unlimited education and coaching from a network of reproductive and family health experts, such as OB-GYNs, doulas, reproductive endocrinologists, fertility educators, adoption/surrogacy coaches, nutritionists, mental health coaches, and career coaches. Maven also provides personalized support for perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause, including managing symptoms and support in finding the right treatments. Plus, you’ll be connected to a dedicated Care Advocate who can provide 24/7 support, learning resources, and access to community forums to engage with others on the same journey. - Enhanced Second Opinion
2nd.MD will replace Teladoc Health to provide expert medical advice and second opinions for a wide range of medical conditions, including cancer, heart disease, digestive issues, mental health, and more. Use 2nd.MD to gain peace of mind—while saving time and money—when you need an expert second medical opinion. - New EAP Partner
ComPsych will replace Carelon as our new global Employee Assistance Program (EAP) vendor-partner. You’ll receive many of the same great benefits and resources and some enhancements including eight free counseling sessions with a highly trained clinician. - New Family-Building Benefits
If you’re enrolled in the Legal Plan through MetLife, you’ll have access to up to 20 hours of legal services with an experienced attorney—including phone consultations, court appearances, and document reviews—for reproductive assistance matters, such as surrogacy, egg donation, sperm donation, gamete donation, embryo donation, and embryo adoption. These services are 100% covered and the cost of the plan will continue to be $162 annually. - Upgraded Vision Plan
Good news—your vision plan just got even better! In 2025, we’re increasing the $130 allowance to $150 for frames and contact lenses. We hope this helps you find the perfect pair of frames or contact lenses to suit your style and vision. - Increase in Medical Contributions
In line with our commitment to keeping expenses as affordable as possible for you and your family, Rockwell Automation continues to pay the majority of your premium costs. However, due to the continual rise of the cost of health care, you’ll notice an increase in contributions for medical plans. This increase is still below the national average.
